Tras más de una década de atascos parece que por fin las retenciones diarias en el arcén en el acceso a Benalmádena desde la autovía pasarán a ser historia. Este miércoles se abrieron al tráfico los accesos provisionales a Arroyo de la Miel desde el punto kilométrico 222 de la autovía. Aunque las obras aún no han terminado, y se prolongarán hasta finales de 2020, la apertura de estos accesos provisionales facilitará las conexiones con el municipio y acabará con los atascos diarios. En ocasiones llegaban hasta el municipio vecino de Torremolinos, con hasta 15 o 20 minutos de espera en algunos casos, como en horas punta, ocupando el arcén, con los consecuentes peligros de seguridad vial que ello suponía. Y es que se han abierto dos nuevos desvíos adicionales (de entrada y de salida) a la altura de la gasolinera Repsol, para agilizar el tráfico.
