A new reversible lane, a system of traffic lights and a conditioned road to redirect traffic to the Technology Park center are the main provisional measures that the Ministry of Public Works has launched on Tuesday in coordination with the Malaga City Council. This device will be active for two months, weeks in which its effectiveness will be verified and if it really meets the objectives set. After this period, a final project will be launched, still pending bidding, as explained by Mario Muñoz Atanet, general director of Mobility of the Ministry of Development, Infrastructure and Planning of the territory of the Junta de Andalucía. Both the reversible lane and the traffic light system located at the entrance of the roundabout will allow a more fluid access to the PTA and not only by Juan López de Peñalver Avenue, but by Graham Bell Street, the first exit of the roundabout. At rush hour, as reported by the Ministry of Development, the PTA can receive about 2,500 vehicles by the same access.
