La Audiencia Provincial de Sevilla ha rechazado el recurso de la Fiscalía que solicitaba la modificación de la sentencia dictada contra Ángel Boza, uno de los miembros de la manada, en noviembre de 2018, que le condenaba por un delito leve de lesiones y otro delito leve de hurto tras haber robado unas gafas de sol de un centro comercial de la capital hispalense. La fiscalía pedía que se le condenase por un delito de robo con violencia. El Ministerio Público considera que los hechos no constituyen delito leve de hurto sino un delito de robo con violencia con pena de entre dos años y medio y cinco de cárcel. El fallo contra Ángel Boza condenaba al joven a dos multas de tres meses, con una cuota diaria de seis euros, por un delito leve de hurto y otro delito leve de lesiones.
